Day 1
ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT (UGANDA)
You fly to Uganda and Land at Entebbe
airport. From there we take you to a hotel
in Kampala where you will rest from your
journey. Dinner and overnight in a hotel. |
Day 2
KAMPALA (UGANDA) – BUKOBA (TANZANIA)
An early morning after breakfast you start
from Kampala to southwest and across the
Equator where we will stop for an hour to
experience the great geographical line. In
Masaka we stop at hotel Bravad for lunch. We
reach the border (Mutukula) crossing into
Tanzania. Arrive in Bukoba in the evening.
Overnight at Walk Guard Hotel overlooking
the great Lake Victoria. |

Day 3
BUKOBA - COMMUNITY TOUR
Bukoba is a small town with an attractive
waterside setting. You will do a community
tour through Bukoba town, you will visit the
local market, a school, a church, the museum
and a drum-making workshop run by disabled
people. With packed lunch you will have a
boat safari to the amazing Musila Island.
You will visit the fishing community on the
island and view the exceptional bird life on
and around the island. There after you will
cruise back to Bukoba Town and drive to
Buganguzi village for Buhaya cultural dinner
and Overnight. |
Day 4
BUKOBA – NATURAL AND CULTURAL TOUR
Morning after the breakfast, you will drive
to Kamachumu for picnic and see the Bugonzi
waterfalls. In the afternoon you will visit
traditional grass built dwellings famously
known as Mishonge houses and have lunch
there. After lunch you will go back to
Buganguzi to visit the old King Ntare
palace. While being at Buganguzi you will
experience the real Bahaya life styles,
warmth and hospitality that Tanzanian’s
residents are famous for. You will have
dinner and spend overnight at Buganguzi with
the Bahaya people. |

Day 5
BUGANGUZI – RUBONDO ISLAND
We drive from Buganguzi to Muganza in 1.5
hours. Here we take a boat to Rubondo Island
(35 minutes). Rubondo Island, located in the
southwest of Lake Victoria is the only
National Park in the Island in Tanzania. At
the island a car will take you through the
forest to the bandas (with all facilities
for enjoyment) in a 30 minutes drive.
Depending on weather, you can spot the first
game here on the way. While being in bandas,
you will get some insights on and then
prepare your own food. Overnight will be
spent in bandas. |
Day 6 and
Day 7
RUBONDO ISLAND TOUR
Morning after breakfast you will go for
several tours. You will have walking tours
through the identified paths in the forest
takes 2-3 hours. On the way you can see
giraffes, elephants and many other different
animal species. You will also go for sport
fishing and for a boat ride to see hippos,
crocodiles and birds. In the evenings you
will sit around the open fire and enjoy the
quite evening with African stories. Dinner
and Overnight in bandas. |

Day 8
RUBONDO ISLAND - MWANZA - BUTIAMA
After breakfast we take the boat to the
mainland and drive to Mwanza, the second
largest city in Tanzania. In Mwanza you will
enjoy lunch of the popular fish sato &
sangara before driving to Butiama. In
Butiama you will visit the village where
Mwalimu J.K. Nyerere (the father of the
nation) was born and buried. Also you will
visit the Butiama Museum. Dinner and
overnight in hotel. |
Day 9
BUTIAMA – SERENGETI
NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will drive with packed
lunch to Serengeti. You will have evening
game drive in Serengeti. Dinner and
overnight at the lodge or campsite. |

SERENGETI
NATIONAL PARK
Full day game drive in Serengeti. Dinner
and overnight at the lodge or campsite. |
Day 11
OLDUVAI GORGE - NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast you drive to Ngorongoro
crater with packed lunch. On the way you
will stop at a Masai village and at the
Olduvai Gorge (cradle of humankind) where
archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey
discovered, studied and documented important
fossils/faunal remains contributing to
better understanding of human origin and
development all over the world. Dinner and
overnight at the crater rim. |

Day 12
NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR
After breakfast you will enjoy a full day
tour in the Ngorongoro crater. Ngorongoro,
often described as one of the wonders of the
world, the world’s largest intact volcanic
area and natural sanctuary for some of
Africa’s animal populations. You will see
the rare black rhino in their natural
setting. Then you will descend into the
crater floor for a crater tour and picnic
lunch. In the evening you will ascend the
crater and drive to Karatu at Kudu lodge for
dinner and overnight.

Day 13
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will drive to Lake
Manyara for full day game drive. Lake
Manyara is a beautiful park at the base of
the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park
boasts tree-climbing lions. There are
several different types of forests with a
variety of fauna including hippos, baboons,
buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, elephants,
zebra, monkeys and plenty of birds including
flamingoes. In the evening drive back to
Karatu for dinner and overnight at Kudu
lodge. |

Day 14
KARATU - ARUSHA
After breakfast you will drive to Arusha via
Masai village (nomadic pastoral community).
Cattle and sheep form the basis of the
economy maintained in resistance to cultural
change. The Masai people subsistence
patterns over centuries have remained milk,
blood, and meat of their livestock. Boys are
initiated into warrior practices and it is
only after serving as a warrior, one is
considered as a man and allowed to get
married. On the way from Karatu to Arusha
you will stop somewhere for hot lunch. Also
you will be stopping at different souvenir
shops for shopping. Dinner and Overnight
will be spent in Arusha in a Hotel.

Day 15
ARUSHA -
AIRPORT - HOME
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International
Airport for flight back home. You arrived as
our customers and guests but now you are
leaving not only as our friends but also our
relatives. We therefore wish you a happy
journey and we encourage you to extend our
family by inviting others. Recall, although
you are leaving to back home, your kindness,
experience, warmth and footprints will
remain in East Africa endlessly. |
